Santa Maria Nuova is only 1.5 kilometers from Il Posto Perfetto and only a 700 meter walk if you want to get there on foot. If you walk out of the gate at Il Posto Perfetto, after 150 meters you will see a sign on the right indicating Santa Maria Nuova. From there you can go up to the center via a rural path. If you look back, you can see the sea in the distance.

Santa Maria Nuova is not a touristic village, but it is pleasant and has several interesting shops and two pizzerias that you can see below.
