Le Marche

... the best kept secret in Italy

Le Marche

Le Marche, or the Marches,
is a beautiful region in the center of Italy
on the Adriatic Sea.

There is a lot to do for young and old!
You can swim, snorkel, surf, dive,
sail and enjoy a cruise on the sea.

In addition to the sea and beach there are many picturesque villages,
interesting cities with museums and churches,
beautiful nature reserves for walking and cycling
or visit an Aquatic amusement park or zoo.

It is reminiscent of the famous Tuscany,
but here it is less touristy.
Really an area where, in addition to the tourists,
many Italians go on holiday themselves. It will also be
"the best kept secret in Italy" .

The inhabitants are very friendly and accessible.

Santa Maria Nuova

With us you can relax in the countryside,
but you can also go on foot or by car
to the picturesque village of Santa Maria Nuova
only 1.5 km. from us.

There you will find a bakery, a butcher,
a restaurant, an ice cream parlor, a bar, a bank
and a large supermarket where the guests
of our apartments can do their shopping.

Jesi

In the beautiful city of Jesi you will find everything:
the mundane main street with beautiful shops,
a beautiful theater and various museums.

Of course plenty of bars and restaurants
including Con Gusto ; our favorite place.
... there you can eat and drink really great!

The town is close by in our area
only 9 km. distance. Really worth it!

beaches

Along the 170 km long coastline you will find
beautiful sandy and pebble beaches .

Just below the capital Ancona
you will find the beautiful area Monte Conero
and the beautiful coastal towns of Sirolo and Numana
and the beautiful bay of Portonovo
where we would love to come.

These beaches are approximately 20 to 25 minutes away from us.

cities

In the Marches you have beautiful cities :
including Ancona, Senigallia, Fano, Macerata, Urbino,
Loreto, Fermo and Ascoli Piceno.

You will find beautiful large squares here
with nice bars and restaurants
and plenty of interesting museums.

These cities are definitely worth a visit.
